How we rate sites
Every site in the catalog gets a score on a 1-to-5 scale (step 0.1). It is not a vote and not a gut feeling: our robot opens the start page of the site the way a phone visitor would, measures five things, and a fixed formula turns them into the score. Editors may move the result by at most ±0.3, and only with a written reason.
What we measure
Opens & speed weight 20 %
Does the page open, how fast the server answers and the page becomes usable (compared with every other site in the catalog), HTTPS, and whether it bounces you through redirects to another domain.
On a phone weight 20 %
Checked at 390 px width: mobile viewport tag, no sideways scrolling, readable text size, links and buttons at least 24×24 px (WCAG 2.2 minimum).
In the review card: 7–10 → «Easy to use» · 4–6.9 → «Usable» · 0–3.9 → «Awkward».
Ads & pop-ups weight 20 %
Pop-ups or pop-unders on load and after one tap on an empty spot of the page (new windows are blocked in our test, nothing is clicked), calls to known ad networks, number of third-party domains.
In the review card: 7–10 → «Light» · 4–6.9 → «Moderate» · 0–3.9 → «Heavy».
Transparency weight 20 %
Links (on the page or in its code) to a 2257 statement, terms, privacy policy, contact and DMCA/copyright pages, an 18+ statement, a clear price model (free, subscription, tokens). Platforms that verify the age and identity of everyone who uploads get one extra point.
Content & reach weight 20 %
How popular the domain is in the public Tranco top-1M list (a section of a bigger platform counts at 70 %), how much content the start page shows, and how fresh the newest date on it is. Popularity counts most; a date is found on only about a third of start pages, so it counts least.
The formula
Each component is scored 0–10. Score = 1.5 + 3.5 × (weighted average ÷ 10), plus the editorial adjustment, rounded to 0.1. A site that opens but does nothing well ends up near 3; a site that does not open at all is removed from the catalog instead of being rated. Speed, ad calls, third parties and content volume are compared against the whole catalog (not just one category), so a 9 means «better than almost every other site we list».
What the numbers mean
- 4.5–5.0
- Excellent: fast, clean on a phone, few ads, open about who runs it. Right now in the catalog: 12 sites
- 4.0–4.4
- Good: worth a visit, small weak spots. Right now in the catalog: 343 sites
- 3.5–3.9
- OK with caveats: heavier ads, slower or less transparent. Right now in the catalog: 510 sites
- below 3.5
- Weak: pop-ups, slow pages or almost no information about the operator. Still listed because it works and passes our content standard. Right now in the catalog: 110 sites
Rules we keep
- Partnership does not change a score. Some links are affiliate links (marked «sponsored»); they give no points. Only when two sites have exactly the same score is a partner listed first.
- Sections of a cam brand (for example its Asian or Latina page) carry the score of the brand itself.
- If a site blocks our robot, the component we could not measure takes the median of its category and is marked with * in the breakdown on the review page.
- There are no user votes and no paid placements in the score. The score is not a safety guarantee — it describes what our robot saw on the date of the check.
When we recalculate
Scores are recalculated from a new robot visit of the whole catalog, all at once and with the same formula. Last recalculation: Oct 12, 2026. Each review shows the date its site was measured.
Found a mistake?
Write to mail@thepornjack.com with the address of the review and what is wrong (for example: «the site has no pop-ups any more»). We re-measure the site and correct the score if the robot confirms it.
