Our review of RedGIFs
RedGIFs (redgifs.com) is a free host for adult GIFs, short looping clips and pictures. Most NSFW communities on Reddit use it: when a post there shows a GIF, the file usually lives on RedGIFs. You can also browse the site directly — the feed plays without an account after an 18+ notice; an account is needed to upload, follow creators and save favorites.
Everything on RedGIFs is uploaded by users. The site sorts it by tags and «niches» that users create, and shows trending creators and links to creators' OnlyFans pages. Some accounts carry a «verified» mark. In our sample from the RedGIFs API on 2 October 2026, 41 of the 95 newest uploads came from verified accounts, while almost none of the trending ones did.
The rules (Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines, updated in September 2025) forbid anyone under 18, hidden-camera recordings and any other content without documented consent, deepfakes of real people, animals and violence. Uploaders must keep documents proving that every person shown was 18 or older. Content can be reported; there is a DMCA procedure for copyright and a separate removal procedure under the U.S. Take It Down Act for intimate images shared without consent.
What RedGIFs does not have is its own age records: its 18 U.S.C. 2257 statement says the operator is not the producer of user uploads, so the records stay with the uploaders. Its guidelines describe reviewing content that users or third parties flag. If you want clips from verified performers only, the studio sites in our catalog are the safer choice.
