Our review of Data18
What Data18 is: a catalogue of studio scenes, movies and performers
Data18 is a reference database of commercial studio releases. On 3 October 2026 its menu counted 22,323 pornstars, 518,806 scenes, 64,724 movies, 1,587 studios, 17,277 virtual-reality scenes, 7,032 movie series and 229 tags, plus a short list of upcoming scenes. Entries are cross-linked: a scene page names its performers, studio and network, and each of those leads to its own list.
What a performer page shows
A performer page opened during the check gave totals instead of a biography: 449 scenes, 87 VR scenes, 236 movies, 246 pairings with other performers, 187 studios and 90 tags. Below came a dated scene list with partners, studio and network for every title. Body measurements, birth data or social links were not shown on that page, so the site answers “who worked with whom and for which studio” rather than personal questions.
Lists and search instead of a popularity chart
The «Pornstars» list can be ordered by recent activity, name, number of scenes or number of movies and runs to 559 pages. There is no vote-based chart and no filter by hair colour or nationality on that list, although tags such as «Blondes» or «Brunettes» exist. The search box covers performers, directors, studios, tags, movies and scenes and accepts exact names, prefixes, suffixes and regular expressions.
Free database, paid store next door
Reading the database is free and no login link was seen on the pages opened. The entry notice states that data18.com “does not create/produce explicit content” and “does not sell/rent any products or services to end customers”. Buying happens on a separate site linked as «Store18 – Official Store», with per-minute, membership, pay-per-scene, purchase, rental and DVD options; its age page carries the copyright line of Ravana, LLC. Movie pages link to trailers and video stills.
Access, language and legal information
A plain HTTP request from our server received a 403 answer with the «ADULTS ONLY! (+18)» notice; in a browser the «I AGREE» button opens the site, which needs JavaScript and cookies. The interface is in English only. No separate 2257, terms or removal page was found in the menu during the check; the only contact route seen is a «Send us a message» link at the bottom of the page.
