r/pornID review: 4.2/5, recommended in Porn Search Engines

r/pornID is a Reddit community where people ask for the name of a porn performer or the title of a video and other members answer. It had 2.7 million members on 1 October 2026. The sidebar describes it as a place «to help you identify a stage name, professional name, or screen name of a porn performer or title of a video from a gif», and solved posts get a «Solved» flair.

The rules are what makes it different from other «sauce» communities. A post must show a clear human face: body-only pictures are removed, because, as the rules say, they risk non-consensual porn. Anime, drawings and AI images are not allowed. Posts of anyone who is or looks underage are removed and the poster can be banned permanently. Requests for revenge porn, leaks, deepfakes or clips from video-chat sites are banned, and so are social-media personalities and Instagram or Twitch models: the sub is «for verified adult performers only». Each post must be a question, and one or two posts per day per user is the limit.

r/pornID is free, but you need a Reddit account: Reddit shows NSFW communities only to signed-in users who have confirmed they are 18 or older. Answers come from volunteers, so some posts stay unanswered and a wrong name can appear before someone corrects it. Reddit does not let our server open its pages, so the status line above says «behind bot protection»; we read the rules on 1 October 2026.

Our rating is 4.5 out of 5: strict rules about faces, age and consent, and a large community that answers quickly. It is not a search engine in the usual sense — you get a name, then search for the performer on a site you trust.
