Our review of Author.Today
Author.Today: Russian-language erotic fiction on a self-publishing platform
Author.Today is a Russian self-publishing platform where authors post novels, novellas and short stories chapter by chapter. Its Erotica genre listed 11,121 books at our check on 2 October 2026, as e-books and some as audiobooks. Many are in free access; others cost a fixed price (for example 169 ₽) or are sold by subscription. Everything is in Russian — there is no other language on the site.
The site rules require every work with adult content to carry an 18+ label, and they forbid any text describing sexual acts involving minors as well as pornographic content. So this is erotica rather than hardcore porn: the scenes are part of fantasy, romance and "LitRPG" plots. There is an Android app.
Our rating is 4.0 out of 5: a huge, moderated library of erotic prose in Russian with many free books, but only in Russian and softer than classic sex-story archives.
