Our review of Toptoon
What Toptoon is: the global site of a Korean manhwa publisher
Toptoon at global.toptoon.com is the English-language service of the Korean webtoon publisher of the same name. The footer states that all webcomics are published by TOPCO GLOBAL INC. and protected by copyright, so the catalogue is the publisher’s own licensed series, not reader uploads. The older address daycomics.com no longer hosts a site: on 3 October 2026 it forwarded by script to global.toptoon.com.
The menu has Weekly, Genres, New, Animation, Ranking, Library and Gift, plus a Chat section where readers exchange messages with series characters. Genre filters seen during the check included Vanilla, BL, Action, Slice of Life, Drama, Historical, Supernatural and Horror/Thriller.
Adult mode and age rules
For a visitor without an account the footer showed a switch labelled «NSFW OFF», and the lists contained the general catalogue. The adult mode was not opened during the check, because our robot does not sign in. The Terms of Service carry a disclaimer that the site contains sexually oriented material intended for people aged 18 or older, while the service as a whole is open from 14.
Payment: coins and a Premium Membership
Paid episodes are unlocked with coins. According to the terms, coins are bought on global.toptoon.com or handed out in promotions, stay tied to one account and are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise; bonus coins can expire. A Premium Membership is a subscription billed every month, every three months or every six months that renews automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown only inside the account and were not seen on 3 October 2026.
The terms also list local payment methods that cannot be refunded, among them Giropay in Germany, MyBank in Italy, Oxxo in Mexico and PIX in Brazil.
Interface, account and contacts
The interface is English only: the page code declares a single locale. Accounts are created with an e-mail address or a social account. The terms mention a mobile application, but no store link was found on the home page during the check. The help area has a Notice page, a FAQ in four sections and a 1:1 Q&A form; the support address is cs_global@toptoon.com.
