Tailspace: a moderated library of furry comics, formerly Yiffer.xyz

Tailspace is the new name of Yiffer.xyz, which, according to its About page, has hosted furry comics since 2016. On 3 October 2026 the start page counted 2,836 comics in the library and 49 verified artists. The range is described as going “from SFW to yiff”: explicit comics with anthropomorphic characters sit next to tamer ones marked Safe-ish. The browse page shows 60 comics per screen with a category label, page count and a three-star rating.

Comics open without payment and without an account. Logging in adds a feed of followed artists, bookmarks, ratings and messages; the privacy page says the e-mail is stored only for password resets. The site states that it runs on community support. Its Patreon page listed 21 patrons on the day of the check and three reward levels in US dollars: from $2 likes become private, from $5 the adverts are switched off, from $15 new features arrive a few weeks early.

Phone layout and the adverts the robot saw

The pages have a mobile viewport and fitted a 390-pixel screen without sideways scrolling; 35 of 38 tap targets were large enough. Tailspace sells its own advert slots (a card among comics, banners on the landing and comic pages) at $16 to $22 a month and says they are built in-house. In the check of 3 October 2026 the robot recorded zero pop-ups and zero requests to outside ad networks.

Content policy and takedowns

The About page sets the rules: the site hosts only content that is already publicly available, removes anything an artist asks to take down, and turns away censored comics, comics in foreign languages and poorly drawn ones. Works with characters under 18 and fully AI-generated works are not accepted. Uploads are made by moderators; verified artists manage their own pages, publish posts and can mark themselves open for commissions. Takedown requests go to the contact e-mail with proof of ownership.

Who runs it and what the legal pages cover

No company or owner name is given. The Terms of Use require visitors to be above 18 and say the site does not own the artwork shown. The privacy page mentions cookies for theme and search settings and a web-statistics service. A 2257 statement is not linked; the comics are drawn fiction, not recordings of real people. The interface is in English only.
