Our review of IVPN
IVPN: a small privacy VPN that states its own limits
IVPN is operated by IVPN Limited, registered in Gibraltar. At our check on 2 October 2026 the Standard plan cost $2 for a week, $6 for a month or $60 for a year and covers 5 devices; Pro Suite, with 10 devices and extra privacy tools, cost $10 a month. Signing up needs no email address, payment by cash, Monero or Bitcoin is accepted, and there is a 30-day refund window. Apps are open source and use quantum-resistant WireGuard by default, with OpenVPN and IPSec also available, plus multi-hop routes and obfuscation. IVPN runs servers in 41 countries (58 locations) on dedicated bare-metal machines and lists its own limits on the pricing page: no port forwarding and no streaming guarantees. It says it has had annual third-party security audits since 2019; its blog announced the eighth, with Cure53, for July 2026. In August 2026 IVPN itself reported that attackers exploited a flaw in its self-hosted Bitcoin payment server and took the company’s operating funds.
Why this matters for adult-site visitors: the internet provider or a shared network sees only the connection to the VPN, not the sites you open, and where adult sites are blocked a VPN may restore access — check and follow your local law. It is not anonymity: the VPN carries your traffic and logged-in accounts still know you.
Our rating is 4.0 out of 5: privacy-first and transparent, with short plans; a smaller network and no streaming promises.
