Our review of Planet VPN
Planet VPN: free VPN without sign-up, from a Romanian company
Planet VPN is run by FREE VPN PLANET S.R.L, registered in Bucharest, Romania. At our check on 2 October 2026 its free plan needed no registration and set no traffic or time limit, but offered only 5 countries (6 locations: USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany, France). Premium was shown to us in euros: €9.99 for one month, €3.99 a month on a 12-month plan (€47.88 at once) or €1.99 a month on a 48-month plan (€95.52 at once). Premium lists 100+ locations and 1,260+ servers, up to 10 devices at the same time, P2P/torrents and streaming support, a kill switch, split tunnelling and Double VPN, apps for phones, computers, browsers and Android TV, and OpenVPN configs for routers. Subscriptions bought on the website can be refunded within 14 days; renewals are not refunded. The terms say the company does not log browsing activity, visited sites or DNS queries; we found no independent audit of that claim on its site.
Why this matters for adult-site visitors: your internet provider or a public or office network sees only the connection to the VPN, not the sites you open, and where adult sites are blocked a VPN may restore access — check and follow your local law. A VPN does not make you anonymous: the provider handles your traffic and logged-in accounts still identify you.
Our rating is 4.0 out of 5: a free tier with no account and no data cap, and a cheap long plan; a small free server list and no independent audit.
