Our review of OVPN
OVPN: a small Swedish VPN with its own diskless servers
OVPN launched in 2014 in Sweden and, according to its privacy notice, was acquired in 2025 by OVPN Inc.; the notice says the no-logging policy does not change with the acquisition. At our check on 2 October 2026 the network page listed 32 cities in 20 countries, all on hardware OVPN owns and runs without hard drives. Prices were shown to us in euros: €12 for one month with 4 devices, €4.99 a month on the 12-month plan with 5 devices and €4.22 a month on the 36-month plan with 7 devices. Every plan includes port forwarding, multihop and an ad and tracker blocker, and there is a 10-day money-back guarantee. Apps exist for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, with OpenVPN and WireGuard.
Why this matters for adult-site visitors: your internet provider or a work or public Wi-Fi network sees only the connection to the VPN, not which sites you open, and where adult sites are blocked a VPN may restore access — check and follow your local law. A VPN does not make you anonymous: the provider carries your traffic, and accounts you log into still know who you are. OVPN says it once fought a two-month information injunction in court and has never handed customer data to a third party.
Our rating is 4.0 out of 5: transparent infrastructure, port forwarding and fair long-term prices; the network is small, the refund window is only 10 days and the new owner is not described further on the pages we read.
