AdGuard VPN review: 3.9/5, recommended in Best VPN Sites

AdGuard VPN: a VPN from the ad-blocker maker, with a small free plan

AdGuard VPN is made by Adguard Software Ltd, the company behind the well-known AdGuard ad blocker, registered in Cyprus. The free plan needs only an account and gives 3 GB of traffic a month on up to 2 devices; the paid plan covers 10 devices and all locations, which the site counts at 75+. At our check on 2 October 2026 the prices in euros, before VAT, were €10.79 for one month, €43.09 for a year (€3.59 a month) and €64.58 for two years (€2.69 a month); with the VAT added for our location the monthly plan came to €13.06. Refunds within 30 days are granted for 1- and 2-year subscriptions only. Apps cover Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, browsers, routers and TV boxes, and the service uses its own protocol designed to look like ordinary web traffic.

Why this matters for adult-site visitors: your internet provider or a shared Wi-Fi network sees only the connection to the VPN, not which sites you open, and where adult sites are blocked a VPN may restore access — check and follow your local law. A VPN is not anonymity: the provider carries your traffic and logged-in accounts still identify you. AdGuard’s FAQ says it does not store activity or connection logs; we did not find an independent audit of that claim.

Our rating is 3.7 out of 5: a usable free tier, 10 devices and wide platform support; the monthly price is high, the refund does not cover monthly plans and the no-logs claim is not externally audited.
